The system has a security feature that checks the domain part of the new-users email against the school selected before allowing registration to continue. Users can also submit details of a school they cannot find on the website. The social networking features allow for emailing, posting pictures, joining societies, searching friends, adding friends, uploading CVs and video Cvs, creating society wepbages (for a fee) chatting and **chatback** (posting message notes to a user even if they are not online and these messages appear like a post-it note to the user once they login. It is like a notifier and the users can save, reply or delete the note) Users can also select a preferred language out of the following **Chinese, Spanish**, **English**, **Hindi/Urdu**, **Arabic, Russian, German, French and Japanese**. Executives o Each class of user will then have access to different areas of the website. o The website should also be able to function with up to 20 site adminstrators o The site-administrator will be able to change the class of each user as required o The site-admins should also be able to disable users and enable modules for the different classes. o Usernames must be unique o Non-users will only have a preview of certain areas o User registrations should be automatically verified by email (domain-part of email must be a university/college) Users should also be able to create searchable profiles which will include ( hobbies, work experience, family business background, area of expertise) o User control panel should allow user to set homepage style, activate preferred modules on My Profiles page, set user-details required on login (could be self or friend), Add friends, set CV viewing permissions and also edit self-profile. o The modules being displayed in the main-content area of ?€œMy Profile?€ page should be collapsible for tidiness and a clutter-less feel. o Web-administrator must be able to add names of institutions plus domain part. This will allow new members to check if their institution is listed and if not, submit details of the new institution.
