clone of classified website with Iauto software,

I have a fully functioning websites for classified car ads based on Iauto Software and now I am looking to expand or add the same for Motorbikes and Spareparts. The working page is [[login to view URL]][1] ! I am looking for the same thing for Bikes and parts and a “Doorway?? page where the client can choose of there to go ??" Cars, Bikes or Parts. There is a similar setup existing, please look at [[login to view URL]][2] . ? ## Deliverables Long description: ? I am looking to expand my classified car website for Motorbikes and Parts and maybe later on also to real estate. The website is based on modified Iauto software, the design was changed, a news ticker tape was added as well as a Banner administrator, all is working perfect as is, there are only a couple of additional things I would like to ad like a expiration email for the ads and a welcome email to the customer after a listing is placed. Nothing else come in my mind at the moment but the coder has to be prepared for small things coming up during the work. The coder who did the work on the car page told me that I have to get additional domains and hosting for bikes and parts in order to get this working. I am not so sure about this because I believe that Iauto can handle Cars, Bikes and Parts on the same DB, but as I said I am not sure and went ahead and got the additional domains and the hosting to it on Godaddy. I also installed Iauto on both domains and started already changing the listing menu on the bikes site from Cars to Bikes [[login to view URL]][3] , I will do the same on the page for the parts [[login to view URL]][4] . ? I basically like the design from the car page and like it copied over for bikes and parts, just the color scheme has to be changed for each as well as the car specific wording to bike and parts. The car logo would have to be changed to a bike or parts, the ticker has to be copied as well as the banner admin. To explain the color scheme a little, on the car page its like blue grey black, on the bike it could be, as a sample, orange blue and black. ? On the bike page it will get the ticker feed of course from yahoo bike like right now from yahoo cars. On the parts page I thing we just grab one from craigslist or so, but this is to be changed at any time in the ticker admin already existing on [[login to view URL]][1] . There is an special designed admin page to it where I can choose which banners to show, rotate the banners, choose the feed and get a report sheed ( excel ) from all the customers. There is a login required to see this which I cannot provide here. However, the password and username there would have to be changed too. I tried, but I cannot do this myself ! This was created b y the previous coder and I believe this is simple php website login. ? To get an idea of the “Doorway page?? I don’t know if this is the right name for it, a fast loading website, which open as soon as one of the domain names it typed in where the customer has the option to go to either page, cars, bike and parts. The “doorway?? should be just like the one from [[login to view URL]][2] with links to car and bike manufactures and at least 4 banners which would have to be integrated in the already existing banner manager. The links for the car and bike manufactures should be easy editable by myself. For the moment they would have to go to the headquarter of the company ( BMW = [[login to view URL]][5] and so on, to open in new window), just look at [[login to view URL]][6] and you get the idea real quick. ? Like I said above, if possible I would prefer to integrate this in the already existing page, but if this is not possible than we go with the 3 individual hosted solution. A single page would make it easier for the customer since only on login would be required and also for me only one DB would be used. I use the DB info to send emails to my customers and so on. Right now I extract from on, better than from 3 ! ? It defiantly would be a great benefit if somebody already had experience with Iauto. ? Just in case you asked yourself why the initial coder is not doing the job ? He did fine and got paid what he asked for, but now since all the difficult work is done, he is asking over double the initial amount for each domain which I consider unfair ! ? I am looking for a honest person, self motivated who clearly and 100% understands the job, a person who can work by himself, not asking every 30min if the color is good and if I like the font. The person has to be able to communicate in English and has to be able to use Google Talk / chat. I think this is pretty straight forward, take a fully working and existing car classified site, copy it and turn it into a fully functional page for bike and parts. ? Since the car page is in use and frequently visited, I have arrange a Test Domain, where the existing car page is copied to [[login to view URL]][7] . This would be the domain where the coder can play around and test things without causing damage to the real website. Once everything is setup there and working, the change would have to be incorporated into the “real deal??. ? Also most important, the Coder has to be prepair for small changes to come up during the project, I can describe this only as good as possible but based on experience the is always little “Something “ ?
