Community Based Music Web Site

A social networking music website that plays music based on a users preference. Need to take what's already built and expand with with some new features and finish what's left. 1. Admin interface to insert details on new songs such as the music location (mp3, embeddable links for external sites, etc) already exits... Need to add a few more features like, edit records and deactivate them. a. manage users b. manage music stations c. manage comments/ratings on the music submitted by users. d. manage metadata associated with the music, such as title, album, artist and tags. 2. The User based UI needs to be AJAX driven so the music keeps playing while the users browse through the site. Pandora/Digg like* 3. Users should be able to: a. Rate and comment on the music that is playing. (Digg Style) b. Comment on certain times codes within the song. Example: 1:30:00 "i loved the line". Similar to "YouTube Annotations". b. Create music stations c. Upload their own songs. 3. Integrate into [login to view URL] and pick the next song to be played via the api. Or if you have another simple rating engine in mind that will work as well. 4. The code should be modular so you can add more modules such as contests, video playback, a classifieds modules, forums, and blog. 5. Should integrate in to Twitter and Facebook. a. With a click the site will post to the user's Facebook or Twitter account "so and so is listening to ... at the site" You will be provided with the HTML Template and Logo. Design as a reference to start with. And a site flow diagram. More details to follow upon selection. Preferred technology: PHP, MySQL, jQuery
