businesses directory website

We are looking for a strong, professional programer/company to build a businesses directory (yellow pages style) website.

We want the site to be fast, easy to use and build at the highest standards and will not compromise on quality.

The site will be in Hebrew so please take this under considerations.

In General guidelines: the site will have 10-20 main category's (Restaurants, Pubs, Lawyers), for each main category there will be a dynamic sub-category/tags (Restaurants: Chinese/Italian/Vegetarian...).

all searches could be breakdown by location (general/area or specific/city...).

Each listing will contain the business: name, address, phone, a few lines about the business, the business Facebook/twitter/website page links, a Facebook/twitter/Google+ "like" buttons, and Interfacing with a Facebook comments on that listing.

In addition each listing should show the listing number and a button to report that listing to the admin.

There should also be an Independent page that contain all that info for each listing, mainly for seo purposes.

The "Create a new listing" process will be short and easy, no registration or E-mail confirmation will be needed.

when a business owner will want to create a new listing he will be direct to the create listing section where he will be asked to enter the business details (name, phone, address, logo...), to chose a main category from the site list (example: Restaurants, Pubs, Lawyers), and to chose up to 5 sub-category/tags (Restaurants: Chinese/Italian/Vegetarian) from an existing list or alternatively, enter his own.

* once a listing was created business owner will not be able to edit it.

The back-office should provide the ability to: change/edit/delete every part in every listing, change/edit/delete tags, add main category's and to read the msg's received from users "report" on listings.

the display area will contain 3 columns:

The left column will contain, a map that for each given search should show each listing location on the map (similar to other services). and google ads/other ads.

the right column will contain a dynamic list of the filters (tags/locations) for each given search, given the option for the user to remove tags/locations from his search filters.

the main column will show all the listing for a given search, Please pay attention this might be confusing:

There will be 3 listing lists (premium/sponsored/regular).

The listing display area will contain: one premium listing, 3 sponsored listing and a dynamic bunch of regular listing (12- ......).

*This structure will be permanent and will not be effected by the size of each list.

for example: if for a given search there are 0 listings on the premium list, 0 listings on the sponsored list and 30 listing on the regular list. the first listing from the regular list will be display on the premium spot, the next 3 will be display on the sponsored spots and the other will display on the regular spots.

on the other case: if for a given search there will be 10 listings from the premium list, the first one will display on the premium spot, the next 3 will be display on the sponsored spots and the other will be display on the regular spots.

it there will also be a list of sponsored listings for that search, they will be display on the regular spots below the premium listings.

the regular listing will be display below the sponsored listing.

the belonging of each listing to a specific list (premium/sponsored/regular) will be determine via the back-office by the admin. when a new listing is created it will be added to the bottom (will show last) of the regular listing list.

the display area should be dynamic and in real time mode (similar to twitter), meaning that if a user is observing at a given search results and the admin just made a listing that relevant to that search, premium. this should be reflected Immediately at the user search results by putting this listing at the premium spot and by pushing all other listing one spot down.

and when a user remove tags and/or location from the filters, this should remove all relevant listings from that given search result.

also when a user as reached the bottom of the search results he should see a button "show me more" (again similar to twitter).

Other pages will include; about us, how it works, contact, f.a.q and others.

Search Engine Optimization must be considered and factored in while building the site.

We will need to have access to the code, and will need all the code, as we will manage and maintain the site, we need instruction on how to make all the changes and tech details, (Site admin login, DB admin passwords, etc). The site will transfer fully to my IT person when it’s done to continue the admin.

Previous project references will be required. We will provide more details when the person or company is selected.

Again I will need the entire source code of the site and all the Copyrights for that code .

Payout will be delivered when all be ready and demonstrated.
