C++ Application to extract unique words or phrases from a text file

This is a very simple project for a programmer who knows what they are doing Keywords: Borland C++ Builder 6 / Kylix, Text Manipulation Application needs to be developed with Borland C++ Builder 6 using Borland's cross platform libraries (if any) so that from a single source code a Linux application can be compiled using Borland Kylix The application needs to extract unique words (or phrases) from txt or rtf files and save them into a file in a 1 word (or phrase) per line format. Original text or rft file will not be altered File into which the sentences are saved (destination file) has one sentence per line format and default name of [original_filename][login to view URL] but the user can edit it. In the program you should be able to switch between view of source file and view of destination file. Input: -txt or rtf file (browse to select a file) -name of results (destination) file(s) and place to save it to once it has been generated (browse to destination folder) Program should remember to open the file browser where the last files were saved to and loaded from Select 1 of the following 2 options 1) -extract unique words from txt or rtf input file and save them into a file in a 1 word per line format (no dupes in results file) 2) -extract unique phrases from txt or rtf input file and save them into a 1 phrase per line format (no duplicate lines in result file) Option 2 and phrase related filters are only possible when the input (and compare) file have a 1 phrase per line format User should be able to "clean up" the destination file by deleting &*%$#/?" : ; 'etc (user configurable) Results in destination file should have no spaces at the beginning or end of any line in the file Option to apply filters to destination file (details see “platform" section ## Deliverables Conditions: Work for hire - We will be the sole owner of the program, source code and other deliverables All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). All variables/parameters/comments in source code will be named in English Packaging and deliverables: 1) Stand alone ready to run executable for Windows 2000 / XP that runs WITHOUT the need for an installation. 2) Stand alone ready to run Linux application 3) Source code Important Notes: No reliance on M$ Internet Explorer or M$ development environment or M$ C++ libraries allowed!! The application(s) are NOT allowed to overwrite ANY files on the user's system without asking for confirmation Whatever user settings might be necessary can be saved in a txt file (.ini) in the same dir as the executable ## Platform Operating Systems: Windows 2000 / XP AND Linux Filter OPTIONS: -only put words into destination file if they are NOT in a compare file -only phrases into destination file if they are NOT in a compare file -only put phrases into destination file if they have between X and Y words -ignore (user selectable) preceding OR trailing numbers in determining if a phrase already exists in destination file or when counting the number of words in a phrase -delete (user selectable) preceding OR trailing numbers in destination file More than one filter can be used at the same time. Show number of lines in each file (recalculate when necessary)
