We require a backup program that will work on standalone pcs and over network paths The program must allow for multiple sources and multiple destinations, include and exclude masks, ability to copy open files There will be a scheduler and all destinations defined will be backed up to the next location in sequence so for example we can schedule daily and rotate between different locations for Mon - Sun If a location is not available it must be skipped and an entry made in the logs The system will be password protected and contain user/pass details to log onto other workstations for backup purposes File locations and destinations and masks will be stored as a profile and it is the profile that will be scheduled It will be possible to have multiple profiles There must be a facility to copy only changed files, create exact duplicate of source, copy all files The system must be fast, reliable and simple to use with a good gui There will be comprehensive logs with ability to email the logs and email success / fail notifications to several email addresses The install routine must be foolproof and reliable The system will have a security check to prevent unauthorised use ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
