A plugin adding a shortcode to the Wordpress bbpress profile

I'd like a plugin that lets me add a shortcode to my wordpress pages that takes the user to the bbpress profile page. i would also like to be able to have this link as a menu item somehow This does not seem to exist in bbpress. It needs to link to http://mysite/forums/user/<USERNAME>/ There is some discussion on how to do this with PHP changes via google, just one example is here --> [login to view URL] But I don't want to do the coding, and I don't want to have to update the code in my site every time it is updated.
