hi All, with th elaunch of an E-Commerce project at Monster Cable we have an opening for a contractor to help us in the Design and development of web pages using ASP (HTML, Javascript, VBScript) as part of an E-commerce solution. Developing these web pages will be the main focus of this position however it will require routine communication to our Internet marketing group as well as the rest of the application development group. The successful candidate will have proven experience in ASP, .NET and other web development languages as well as have the ability to administer SQL Server and be proficient at writing MS SQL Stored Procedures. The right applicant must be able to learn very quickly the functionality of our E-Commerce application. **POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:**? * Design, development and maintenance of the E-Commerce applications using ASP and SQL Server * Skilled in the software development life cycle, relational database design and SQL Server 2000 programming using stored procedures * Demonstrate effective communication and organizational skills and the ability to work in a team environment * Technical and non-technical documentation of applications. * Conduct meetings with internal as well as external staff to gather requirements, discuss changes, prepare for testing and go through go live. * Resolve defects as they are detected. **SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS, & EXPERIENCE:? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ** The successful candidate will have the following experience or knowledge in the following areas: * At least 3 years software development using ASP & MS SQL Server * Minimum 3 years of writing stored procedures. * Minimum 3 years of JavaScript. * BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent ## Deliverables Check Product Cart at? <[login to view URL]>? if you need more info on the engine.
