Turn attached layered PSD file into working website, with content management system suitable for updating by non-technical users. This project requires fast turnaround and professional execution. Generous bonus for timely completion.
We envision using Wordpress as the CMS for this project, but are open to alternate suggestions. We will purchase any neccessary CMS license.
Coder will create all neccessary templates, style sheets, and databases, installation of software, etc. on our production server (with our assistance). Or,c oder can create this project on coder's staging server, and then work with us to migrate.
The site can be populated with sample text and images. After completion, we will add "real" content", which will not be the responsibility of coder.
We have created artwork for three basic templates: home page, category sectional/archive page with abstracts, and story/article pages. Some nav items will need to link to sectional pages, some will need to link to article/story pages. Most of the home page content will be abstracts flowing in from specific categories.
We want to use different right channel artwork in each category (and for associated articles). This artwork does not have to be changed by CMS . . . we can edit the templates when we want to change the art. But this means we need to set up slightly different templates for each nav item/category, perhaps context-controlled includes where the images will reside.
Note that the "blog" and "member login" elements of the nav will link outside the CMS and will not require templates.
The coder who works with us on this project must be flexible, proactive, and communicate well by email and IM. Questions will come up during this project, and we will be available to answer them by email or IM from 7am-7pm Pacific time.
More information will be available in full project description, attached.
