autosuggest of city names for a travel-related site

Experienced AJAX (esp. XML) /PHP developer wanted to create and deliver the following auto-suggest solution: - Deliver an autosuggest list of city & airport names as user types in entries in the city-name entry field. - Work similar to how this capability works in the Hotel search sections of many major Travel sites, such as [login to view URL] for example. - Must assemble the "database" or an XML file/ list of cities (and related city information) from CSV type sources of city names identified by Buyer. (Such a list may have several million records.) - Should be either XML or RDBMS based (XML is strongly preferred for simplicity and performance reasons), but, regardless, must work with the same performance as other travel sites with similar capability. - Must work and be delivered/demonstable with an blank web page with one input field for entry. - Program must also return city-elated global variables as necessary for subsequent use by another program - Delivery must include installation assistance on buyer's hosted server if necessary. - Deliverable will be considered complete when instaled and tested on the buyers's hosted server. Special consideration given to bidders who indicate some thoughts on how they would approach this specific project. END ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). 4) All information privately disclosed as part of this project will be considered Buyer confidential. Provider/coder agrees not to disclose such information to any third party without prior writen approval by Buyer.
