The main aim of the proposed project is to design and implement an “ARM based Embedded System for Capturing, Displaying and Logging millivolt Analogue Signals”. This system will be able to measure millivolt analogue signals from a four input channel unit, display it on a touch-screen display pad and then store the data for future investigation. Because the application contains several independent software components (data conversion, data display, data storage etc.), it is necessary to build upon a kernel which offers basic multitasking functionality. The RTOS used for this task can be uCOS-II or uCLinux.
