My responsibilities are, • Design of Automotive plastic parts Using Catia V5 for surfacing (GSD) Class “A” side of product and development of “B” Surface and conversion of closed surfaces to solid part. • Creating the technical features for ‘B” Side surface. • Identifying the problems in part and moulding conditions and prepares Proposals. • Discuss with engineering teams about concept and problem. • Generation of 2D drawing from data taken with proper GD&T symbols. • Study of components Design for its application dimensions to maintain accuracy to meet requirement of design criteria. • Worked on Interior automotive plastic components like Pillar trims, Door Trims. • Knowledge of GD&T, Engineering materials, Plastic Manufacturing (Injection moulding). • Familiar with Basic Plastic Design and Tooling knowledge. • Proficient in Manufacturing concepts and Process as well as product Design Activities. • Worked on Plastic, Fabric and Foam domains.
