We have an existing solution written in Filemakepro 6 for a piano sales and rental business. Its a simple solution consisting of a CRM section, inventory section for serialized inventory, and inventory section for non- serialized inventory, a sales invoice, a rental invoice, a service order section. We want to take this existing solution and transfer it to mysql server. We also want to add a section for scheduling 7 rehearsal/practice rooms and keeping track of teacher's hours , and a section/ calendar for keeping tabs on certain items in the serialized inventory that go out on short term rental. In addition we'd like to add a section for in company messages and phone messages to eliminate messages on post it notes, almost like an in company message mailbox separate from our email. We'd like to then take the MYSQL solution and connect it so it communicates with Quickbooks and eliminate double and triple entry we now do.
