We're looking for an Operations/Android Build Engineer to help us augment and build tools around our cloudbased environment services. You will work closely with our engineering and product teams to help design, implement, and scale our predominantly Android and Google App Engine architecture. Here are the values we look for in a team member: You believe in automating everything -- configuration management isn't just a good idea but a requirement You prove your ideas with metrics and testing, no guesswork You can build tools to both detect operational issues but would rather build tools to prevent them You are dedicated to building a robust infrastructure free of single points of failure. Here's what you need: 5+ years of experience in operations and Android/Linux systems engineering Deep understanding of Eclipse build scripts [login to view URL] Strong skills in at least one systems programming language (Python, Java, Bash, Go, etc.) Your deliverable will include: 1. Build policy 2. Automated build script 3. Setup Procedure Documentation We will provide you with full documentation to our engineering build environment. Your task is to transform an engineer (manual) build system into an automated nightly build system with scripts that automatically publish the new build to our cloud server.
