I am looking for someone to work with me to connect our [login to view URL] account to Google Apps spreadsheets, eventually I may switch to PostgreSQL. I would like to use python because the software will be running on a Linux based machine as a service, alternative options may be proposed. The details of this project are that the software will need to be compliant with limits by Amazon's API (such as hourly limit of API calls, etc) and I want to automate data entry by having the script read the data from the Google Spreadsheet and look it up on Amazon's API and then come back with the correct data back into Google Spreadsheets. Data we are trying to get but is not limited to ASIN Ranking, Sales, Current Price, Competitive Price, etc. In addition to accomplishing this, I want to create an open framework where any user can request information from the program via the Spreadsheet. Please respond back with experience with Amazon API, Google Sheets, and PostgreSQL.

Hello, Is there a particular reason why you prefer PostreSQL over the more common MySQL? I worked with both, but I worked more with MySQL. I assume you want to use the Product Advertising API from Amazon and more specifically ItemLookup and ItemSearch? I have great experience with amazon api , as my company own a software that works with many eCommerce api including Amazon AWS and MWS also we have recently worked with google api`s for analytics and drive I have great experience with working on MYSQL instead of PostgreSQL i`m pretty sure with my intensive knowledge about amazon API i`d be a great help in this project .
