My boss has to deliver a lecture in a software company and is very fussy and needs the following from me:\r\nAcademic writing on project management and especially on a failed project.\r\n\r\n(800 words) (The purpose is to have all data on hand to prepare an invitation for the seminar).\r\nFind a failed project that has to do with a failed software project (could check chaos for info).\r\nYour academic writing should start with the rationale of the post project review, followed by explanation of how this project is to be evaluated from a range of aspects. For example, the classic iron triangle can be applied as generic criteria to evaluate the project. However, more critical and subtle evaluation criteria are expected, such as project scope management, risk management, impact to the operations, and the impact to local communities and environment etc. The criteria should be justified in terms of their importance in relation to the project success.\r\nThe proposal should summarise the expected review outcomes as concluding remarks.\r\nReferences should be included in accordance to Harvard referencing.\r\nI need headings and subheadings.\r\n.\r\nThe Full information for the seminar (3,000 words +-10%).\r\nThis info should detail the research, findings, analysis and synthesis.\r\n\r\nProject Management\r\nPart 2, A failed project and analysis of theories and what went wrong.\r\nThese along with all literature, facts and data should be cited and referenced using the Harvard Referencing System in order to study and have in hand whilst being questioned for the validity of the information by the attendees.\r\nThe report evaluates the chosen project from the criteria set out in the invitation data (800 words). One or two aspects of the criteria should be identified as critical factor for the project performance and success, the importance of these aspects should be justified and impacts of these aspects should be studied. For instance, you may consider stakeholder management and/or risk management are more important than other aspects in the criteria, and wish to explore how these aspects were successfully managed, or how these aspects could have been improved. The application of project management theories is essential in this section to verify the information provided.\r\nThe report should conclude with the best practices and main lessons learned on this project. You may also wish to recommend improvements to practice or solutions to problems encountered which will be recommended through my boss\' offer.\r\nThe length of the 2nd part report should be 3000 words (+/-10%). If the report is outside these boundaries you may lose part of your payment.
