Compliance Recording for Instant Messenger Application

Eclipse Market Solutions is the developer of a commercial application written in JAVA, which, among other features, sends and recieves instant messages. For compliance reasons these instant messages must be stored according to guideline from Accitance (<[login to view URL]>), an industry standard. Currently our application logs all messages into a seperate file for each user when he manually intitiates the process by clicking a button on the GUI. This usually happens once a day at the end of the day. The proposed project has two major goals: 1. Message recording should take place in real-time, and not need to be initiated by the user. 2. There must exist an option to save all messages from all members of a single company into a single file.
