Convert database connection for existing .NET application

Hi, from my reading, the only thing that needs to change is the change from Access to MySQL. I assume I am creating the MySQL database from scratch with all the correct field types, and transferring the data across? Then, the .Net app (I need source code) will be changed to connect to MySQL. Everything else should remain unchanged - playing media etc. Is that all correct? Regards.. Richard
