Spearline Labs is a privately owned Irish technology company founded in 2003 which has provided software services and VoiP telecommunications systems to a wide variety of businesses. We have developed a series of testing tools for toll and toll-free numbers worldwide; and as part of our ongoing expansion, we require server installations in a number of countries.
We are seeking a freelancer to assist with this rollout, to source and liaise with data centres and/or telecoms companies
How we will use the server:
We will use the servers to dial our customers Toll and Toll Free numbers in the country where the server is located. There will be no international calls. All calls will be test probes generated from our testing software, at no stage will there be a live call going through the server or telephone lines.
What we need from the Data Centre/Hosting Provider
- Server (specification below)
- Hosting Contract & SLA
- 1mb Internet connection, upload/download. We may require more in some countries
- Telephone lines provided by the largest carrier in each country
- Sangoma Interface Card installed in the server with telephone lines connected
it would be preferable for the Data Centre to provide the hardware themselves, but if not this can be provided directly by Spearline Labs or by a supplier sourced by the Freelancer.
In each location we would be looking for telephone lines to be connected to the server by the largest telecom provider in the country. Ideally, it would be up to the data centre to provide the lines and make sure they are kept active. Alternatively, the Freelancer would liaise with the local telecoms company and arrange a contract between the telecoms company and Spearline Labs.
Any Data centre / telecoms deposits and monthly / annual charges will be invoiced directly to Spearline Labs.
