Bookkeeping manual for a bookkeeping company. NOTE: The manual would be around 80 to 120 pages. I need an operations manual for a bookkeeping company who sends bookkeepers to their clients premises to complete ongoing bookkeeping on behalf of the client. I need the following to be incorporated into a comprehensive manual: Onsite Tasks to be completed: Daily Weekly Monthly Quarterly Annually There needs to be separate check sheets for each of the above Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Annual to ensure the onsite bookkeeper does their job properly. The check sheets must also make reference to a section of the manual which clearly outlines what each of the tasks are e.g. if a task is reconcile bank account – then there must be a reference to exactly what this means and what needs to be undertaken. There must also be comprehensive processed and procedures for the bookkeeper to follow. There must be processes and procedures to follow for the manager of the bookkeeper business to ensure their employee bookkeeper is doing a good job with their clients. The system should also include client meetings e.g. what meetings the bookkeeper should have with the client, when these meetings should take place and what should be covered. The manual is a comprehensive manual for the employment of a bookkeeper, how they work with clients, what they need to do with a client’s business and how they need to be managed. NOTE: This manual is for a bookkeeping business employing, and managing a bookkeeper who will be working with external clients to maintain that clients books. The bookkeeping business will initially be a novice at this so the manual must clearly dictate what needs to be done and when. The bookkeeper employed by the bookkeeping business will be a qualified bookkeeper BUT the business will need to be able to ensure they are doing a good with the external clients.
