General:
The system should be able to help me filling a table of my receipts by automatically reading the date from a scanned photo then extract date & amount.
I have a OneNote table with the following columns:
• Number (from 1 to 30)
• Image (will be taken from my mobile)
• Date (should be on dd-MMM)
• Amount (decimal number)
• Type (Food, Taxi or others)
• Currency
• Transfer rate at that day (From Current currency to Jordan Dinar)
• Processed by script (Yes/No)
The solution needs to be a powershell script (or a macro that is called by power shell script)
This script should check a certain page on onenote notebook, then iterates through the table rows that has an images without date, amount and transfer rate in the same row; take the photo and send it to OCR service; get the date & receipt value and write it down into Date & Amount cells; then set the "processed by scrip" to "Yes"
Secondly, you have to send the amount to a services that get the transfer rate (From the current country to Jordan Dinar JOD)
Optional:
Fill the type of the receipt (food or taxi)
How to spot the page?
The page will be placed in a pre-defined section in the onenote, and the title will have a certain format
OCR:
It is preferable to be free of charge service, but will accept with some payment if it is ok
Validation:
• The date should be within the range of the date provided by title
OCR, powershell, OneNote, Macros, VB
Two feedback iterations can happen as more cases will appear after delivering the first version of the script.
