Blog designer

Read full description then apply. My technology blog is in need of a re-design. I'm looking for something that is content-focused, not overly complex, and with strong typography. I have a basic idea of the colors and feel I'd like to see. The deliverable will be PSDs of the design for two pages: the paginated index page, and the full post page. Development is not required. this project is a redesign of the blog www.ofzenandcomputing.com. Site-wide design: Traditionally I have used designs that consist of a header, footer, and sidebar on the right, however I'm open to whatever ideas you have. I like the colors and glow effect in these two designs: [login to view URL] [login to view URL] I would like a similar color scheme and feel. Although these are dark, the portion of the design that shows the full contents of a blog post should be dark text on a light background. Besides the main layout, there are two pages: 1. Index page A paginated list of posts. Each post consists of the headline, the date, a one paragraph excerpt, a link to continue reading, and an optional image. The image is shown in one of three ways - a medium-sized square floating to the left or right of the text, or a rectangle above the text at the full width of the column. 2. Full Post page Contains the headine, date, full contents of the post, FaceBook, Twitter and Google Plus buttons to share the post, a 300x250 Google AdSense unit in the sidebar, and a 468x60 AdSense unit below the post. There are no comments. I would like your final product to be Photoshop PSDs. I will do all the slicing, spriting, and coding. Your final product must be your own original work, unique to Of Zen and Computing.com.
