We need an events website which has a small monthly calendar on the homepage and when a date is clicked it opens to a page which is essentially a daily planner showing each hour of the day and events which we list at each time. The homepage will also show the daily planner for the current date with featured items at the top followed by the hourly listings for that day. Across the top of the page will be tabs which specify types of events (eg. theater, film, museum, sports, etc.) and clicking on one of these would bring up all appropriate events for various dates The visitor will see a limited amount of basic information but must register (for free) to see more detailed information about events. Certain events will be available only with a paid subscription so we will need a page which accepts PayPal payments. We will also need a page with an event submission form; this is not a live listing but is sent to website owner. Another page will be very basic information, about the company, testimonials (although we may want to make this another page in the future) and a form for sending comments, questions, etc. Of course we want all the ordinary things like a search feature, confirmation for opt in, etc. The most important aspect is ease of use both for the visitor and for the people who are inputting the events. The inputting form must include the date and time which will tie to where it is listed in the daily planner; it must also include the category so it is listed there as well. Again, only very basic information is available without registering (date, time, category/genre, cost, if any). A registered member will need to log in to see details of some events, but must subscribe/pay to see details of premium events. We know almost nothing about computers other than using the internet and some basic programs such as word, so it is extremely important to us that we are able to get into the administrative area easily and create/post/upload to our calendar/daily planner very quickly and easily as we have many events every day. We will also need help with ongoing website management, SEO, and social media (Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
