Hi, i am looking to create a website with a build your own design feature. If you want a sample of what i have in mind, look at customink.com. There are many similar websites out there.
I need to start with a blank, then as you add items, it will add cost.. so basically the blank is $X.00, when you add a certain shape, the total will modify depending on the shape added, with no limit. When added to the blank, you can then modify it's position and rotation (not scale). When complete, you can save the image and it will email to me.
I dont have a shopping cart system in mind, so open to suggestions for how to integrate. My first idea would be to just generate a cost, then use a 3rd party merchant account like First Data or paypal to process the configured total.
My time limit is short, i would need a working product by mid november. Looking for quotes and time estimates first. Perhaps you've already built something similar and can use the framework to create this project? It does not need to be fancy, just functional and attractive. we can elaborate on it after the xmas season.
