1. Change the events button to say Workshops
2. In the Members only section remove the workshop button and section all together
3. Under the workshop - more detail - would like a sign up button that goes to an form that has
(Fill in the blanks for the)
a. Name:
b. Address including street, city, state and zip
c. Email
d. Workshop signing up for
e. All must be filled in before it can be submitted
f. Also before the submit button they must have to checkmark a terms and conditions box.
4. Terms and conditions are underlined when they click on it goes to a terms and conditions page. Page to
be a simple box that I can put the terms and conditions into with a close button at the end of the terms and
conditions.
5. Home page
a. Want to add a scrolling message under menu buttons (orange area only) that has “our next meeting is and
space for me to put the date and time in” all with the quotation marks in a single line.
6. Lecture page
a. Remove lines under the words Lectures Scheduled and remove the Lectures Scheduled
b. Want two boxes on page with the left side labeled “Past Lectures” and the right side labeled “Upcoming
Lectures”
c. In the Upcoming Lectures I would like to keet the same layout box that is there now
d. In the Past Lectures I just want the Topic line which can be one line or several lines.
e. For both the boxes they should expand to however many items I list. Also want to be able to orgainze the
list, not just as entered, 1 being the bottom of list and assending towards the top
To see if I got this right, you have a legacy site right now which is difficult to manage, and you want to transfer it to wordpress so that laypeople can easily edit in and out lectures and meetings, etc.
Are we on the same page?
There are some nice wordpress themes out there that would really spruce up your site and add the functionality that you desire, and that's what I would recommend.
