Adobe Air real-time status monitor

We are a VoIP service provider. This application is called the HUD: Heads Up Display and displays a simple list of subscribed phone numbers with their current real-time status (Active, Busy, Do Not Disturb, etc) which is fed to the front end Adobe Air application via a single TCP connection to a server application we have written. This front end application needs to look cool, load and operate quickly and be cross-platform.
