Custom RSS Announcement Alerter

**Brief Overview:** I would like a program created that can provide desktop alerts when a new announcement is made on this website [url removed, login to view] if the announcement matches my keywords specified.

**Operating System**: Microsoft Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7

Alerts: A pop up window, plus customisable sound alerts.

**Outline:

**The program must read the list of price sensitive announcements that are displayed on the ASX website ([url removed, login to view]) at intervals specified by me (eg: 1second, 10 seconds, 15 seconds, 30 seconds)

(Perhaps an RSS feed needs to be created for this information to be easily read?)

I need to be able to have a customisable library of keywords that will be searched against the announcement. When a keyword is found in an announcement, I need to be instantly alerted to the announcement.

Alerts need to be via pop-up window, and sound. Turning off alerts, sound only, pop up only, and customisable sound file should be included.

The pop-up alert needs to provide the heading of the announcement + company ticker, and a hyperlink to the announcement .pdf file.

**An example:**

List of Keywords: ADU, Equity, Merge

At 8:27am on the 9th June, the program will alert me that there has been an announcement by ADU, with the title of the announcement "*Adamus Resources Reaffirms Full Year Production Guidance*" and a link to the .pdf to view [url removed, login to view]

At 11:01am on the 9th June the program will alert me the keyword Equity was used in an announcement by RHM titled "*Equity Research Report*" with a link to the relevant .pdf file
