Configure Microsoft Exchange 2013 on my Windows 2013 Standard server

First thing you need to clarify is, Have you purchased a SSL certificate from Go daddy or Digicert? Did you confirm that your ISP opened the necessary Ports for you, POP, SMTP, SSL, do you have a public IP address pointing to the servers IP address. If you have all those in place, test if the exchange servers ports are working. Make sure your domain is in the accepted domain under the Hub Transport of exchange. If you try and send mail to an internal user does it sit in the Que or just disappears? if you send from an external mail address do you recieve a bounceback message stating the error message.
