Adding pagination to Wordpress theme

I am looking for someone to customise the Classica wordpress theme by Orman Clark ([login to view URL]). Specifically, I want to change the theme's one-page portfolio (which uses quicksand to sort from a list of tags referred to as skill types) to having a paginated portfolio page with separate pages for displaying the tag/skill types. I've been advised the file required is taxonomy-skill-type.php. Plus the wp-page-navi plug in. Cheers Paul
