Hey there, I have been designing and developing WordPress sites for the past 8+ years, i work with both content management systems and e-commerce platforms on a daily basis for both Clients and Personally and WordPress being the primary. (I am an 31 year old Designer / Developer from Ireland, now live in Malta , more about me on my profile) From when i first started out using WP it was only recognized as an Content management system, however today it has entered a class of being both that and an e-commerce platform. I have recently finished two big WordPress projects for clients on Freelancer and one from another source and having the opportunity to teach you, what you want to know about WordPress would be a refreshing break for me and a knowledgeable course for you. I manage two Linux hosting server's, If i am awarded your project, what i can do is setup an account on my Linux server for you, with Word Press installed this will give both myself full access to WordPress and its infrastructure and being able to modify it to allow the Upload of bigger file sizes ( most hosts only allow 2mb file size uploads ) and you can keep your WordPress site hosted on my server for a year free of charge, if you want to move to another hosting server i will show you how you can packup wordpress sites in a zip file and easily move host. I'll teach you how to host a website locally, or if you want we can use a hosting website, and i'll teach you on how to link the hosting to your domain. Adding content is the easiest part if you know what to write about, and it's all done through a Graphical User Interface(GUI) that's already there for you. I recommend you to use WordPress since you can easily add content, plugins with a click of a button. Moreover, WordPress is a totally free, and you can find really good looking templates, so no designing skills required. As a bonus, i'll teach you on adding ads to your website, so that you can make money from it. Note: i'll walk you threw the steps on Skype, and we can use a software called team viewer for the purpose of sharing your desktop, so that everything will be done in front of you on your screen, and you can learn easier that way.
