My previous experiences on various projects says "Understanding Client requirements is half the work done". I would like to know the project objective, material data to be cosndiered , type of stress static ot dynamic, Endurance testing to decide boundary conditions, factor of safety and Key deliverables. I have worked extensively on numerous CAE projects on Thermal, Fatigue, Creep, Vibration, Modal etc types of analysis on various materials, specifically on Composite materials. I normally write the Technical reports by defining the 1. Problem statement first 2. Boundary conditions: Loading and and Constraints 3. Material Properties: Short term and Long term 4. Type of Analysis and assumptions 5. Mechanical calculations or software results 6. Analysing the results as per factor of safety. 7. Modficiations in the Design ( if required ) and re analysing the design and FINAL SUMMARY if the Desing is safe or not.
