Business Card OCR mobile application development for iPhone and tablet Platforms.
Sample application is CamCard which is available on iTunes.
I am looking for someone who can help build exact same functionality using native OCR technology that runs on the device.
You need to have previous experience in OCR technology and much familiarity with supporting dictionaries behind OCR technology to recognize the various patterns on the business cards.
It should work on iPhone, iPad mobile and tablet devices.
Project Description:
Looking for someone who can build
$ iPhone,
for building an app that can OCR the text from business/visiting cards and put it into local app database on the device and also sync to the cloud database with best performance.
----> App should work exactly like sample applications "CamCard".
----> Let the user take the photo through App or select from existing images and capture Business card details through OCR libraries
----> Also should store the image scanned card to image library and also display business card image as part of contact profile
----> Ability to convert photo image as PDF file and store it
----> Ability to send converted PDF file via email and message
----> Ability to Import Contacts from Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, Outlook, AOL, Any Mail
----> Ability to invite imported contacts to install App and connect
----> App Should have LinkedIn and facebook login authentication options
----> Should pull login user's Linkedin or Facebook profile First Name, LastName, Linkedini Profile url, most importantly user's emailid, Profile Photo etc.,
----> App should also post notification to User's linkedIn/facebook profile page when connected with new user or login etc, activity done on the App.
----> App also should pull User contacts emailid's from linkedin/facebook and should be able to send an email to user contacts with Our App Website URL.
----> Should be able to pull the contact details from LinkedIn based on first name and last name search on LinkedIn and display linked in public profiles so that user can invite LinkedIn contacts straight from the app.
----> User will have LinkedIn Connect button next to Contact's emailid that allow inviting contacts to connect on LinkedIn by taking emailid from the scanned business card
----> Project should be completed in 4 weeks time frame.
----> Inline detailed documentation for coding is required for each block of the code functionality
----> Detailed Code support documentation should be provided for each code module
----> Sufficient issue traps and issues logging should be done.
*** Preference will be given to the team that can complete the project as a priority ***
IMPORTANT: Must agree to the following common development contract terms.
*** Source Code and 100% of code ownership for the platforms should be handed over to us upon the completion of the project.
*** Code should be built with detailed documentation with inline coding comments at each major step and functionality
*** Support documentation need to be written and provided
*** 3 months of code fix, Bug Fix warranty required for the issues fall into the above functionality.
*** Proof of Code deletion from the provider's systems required after delivery of the project
*** Code should not be reused or given to shared with any third party individuals or entities around the world.
