Technical Support: Run several programs simultaneously on Android Phone

Dear Freelancer, I would need to understand whether the following is possible technically and how it can be done. I am running two or more different programs/apps on my phone that I want to keep processing even when I switch to another window. So just as an example, I play a video on an app in two different versions. However, only the app that is opened is performing the task - in this case playing the video. The app in the backgound stopped playing the video or performing the task in general. I would like to have a way that the apps continue their tasks/processing even if they are only running in the background. Let me know if something is unclear I am happy to clarify. If this is technically not feasible please just ignore the project. Thank you very much for your help. Kind regards, Sebastian

Hi, I think it should be possible. The only thing is, in background you won't be able to make the video visible, conventionally. But there still can be ways if the view of video is priority, e.g. using Picture-in-picture etc. If you like we can discuss and I can provide my options as per requirement as I already have done something similar. With my previous job experiences gained me almost 8 years of Tech Support experience. I love the challenge that tech issues provide. And what I really love with tech, it keeps me on my toes, keeps me sharp. Tech is a continuous learning process, you always gets the need to be updated. Funny thing is, I don't even have the formal training to provide tech support. What I have, it's all on me. I learned and I learned well. One advantage i have over those trained tech, I use layman's terms that can easily be understood and avoid jargons. In all of the issues I troubleshoot and resolved, I never got any escalation. Which means that I have done a good job. And what you were saying Sebastian, running multiple process on an Android. It is possible. And I can teach that to you. It won't even take us very long.
