Filmathlon -- writers needed for a film and arts blog

Hi everyone

I am looking to hire two film writers/movie critics/film students/cinephiles to write for a movie blog. We'll require the writers to write unique movie reviews, list-articles and insightful online content about cinema. Not only do we want original articles, we want the writers to have a subjective understanding of cinema. We mostly cover independent cinema emerging from the US, India, and Europe, but on certain occasions, we also cover Asian cinema emerging primarily from China, Iran, Korea and Japan.

Preferred candidates.

Good writers. People who have a way of articulating their observations in a lucid, simple, powerful manner. We want our articles to be accessible to the layman, and yet at the same time have enough insight to be worthy of beginning a discussion.

Film students/amateur film makers. Writers who understand the method behind the madness. We want the writers to be viewers first, but we also want writers that can spot form their own opinion on a film.

Writers well-versed with SEO, Keywords, Wordpress.

Writers who have experience writing movie reviews, online content on films.

Writers who have been published in film magazines.

Payment

Since the film blog is run by me at the moment, I'll be paying from my own pocket. So keep that in mind while bidding. Please bid what you'd expect to be paid for four articles in a month, each of around 600-800 words. We want each writer to write one article in a week.

I'll hire you for a two-month trial period, and if I like what you can do, I would rehire you to write more articles.

I welcome newbies, provided you have what it takes!

Note: Please attach one movie review that you might have written in the past, or any other article you wrote about movies.
