Error check

We need a program running on windows XP that will check all the landing pages reached through the promotional links of the merchant pages listed in [login to view URL] in the “All stores” table. There are around 5000 merchants listed. Landing pages of promotional links are exclusively outside Xxxxxxxxxxxx. The software has to show us a report with the list of all merchant pages urls where it found landing pages like 404 “page not found” or any other error page or one of the bad urls of a short list that we will provide you (the list has to be easily updatable by the customer too). The report has to show the merchant page link and the type of bad url found. If no bad url is found the merchant will be omitted from the report. ------------------------------------------------------ Exemple: [login to view URL] 1. 404 “page not found” 2. listed bad url [login to view URL] 1. 500 “internal server error” ------------------------------------------------------ It has to be possible to stop the check anytime showing a partial report and it has to be possible to limit the check choosing the first letter of the merchant names to be checked. It has to be possible to modify the url [login to view URL] where to get the info. The source code with adequate comments has to be given too.
