MP3 Music Vocal Remover

Ok, we already had this program written in C++ .Net that uses some external DLLs. You can view and download our current software at [login to view URL] Now, what we want is a total rewrite of the software, for the following reasons: - Currently, the software use the same method to remove vocal as most other softwares. The soundtracks are firstly converted to mono then inverted, thus center vocal is removed. This method will fail when the vocal is not at center or has lots of echoes. The bass will also diminish with this method. - The current output quality is bad, the output file sometimes contain lots of crackle noise makes the whole track useless. - There are many occasions where the conversion would get stuck - If the input or output path contains non-english character the program will fail So essentially, we are looking to improve the overall quality of the software, we need someone that knows how to remove vocals from music that uses different algorithm than the traditional method. We need to totally enhance the output quality and possibly make it work with all kind of songs. We are also looking to add a feature where user will be able to save just the voice. The new software should be written in .Net, preferbably Visual Basic. You may want to check audacity open source, and some libraries such as LAME, MAD etc. You may write the DLLS in other language but the core program should be vb.net. I'm looking for a smart developer that can work on his own with minimum instructions, I don't want someone that have hundreds of questions that even a child can answer. English skill is a must, there is no point for me typing up detailed instructions when all you are going to do is come back to me and tell me to explain each paragraph.
