We are a reknowned furniture company manufacturing high quality design furniture. We have a need for a permanent freelance engineer who can help us with ongoing documentation and product development. We are looking for a mechanical engineer well experienced in technical documentation, part production and SolidWorks modelling. You have to be experienced in the usual metal industrial production processes, their limitations and their costs. Aditionally know what surface treatments are possible and their limitations. Preferably have experience in wood furniture documentation and wood manufacturing. The assignments are going to be versatile. At first we need drawing documentation produced (part drawings, assembly drawings, etc) on the basis of 3D-files, actual furniture or old paper drawings.
