Hello, I'm interested in the supersonic flows around a rocket bullet and would like to collaborate with you on this project. I have experience in CFD simulations by using in-house code (Euler solver), open source (Code Saturne) and commercial CFD package (Ansys Fluent). Relevant former works include: - shock waves capturing for flows around 3D bump, RAE2822 airfoil using in-house code - 6DOF simulation of flow-driven propeller and moving mesh simulation for flapping of 3D wing using Ansys Fluent and its subroutine programming (user-defined function UDF with C language) Some figures of these results can be delivered upon request (through message of freelancer or email). For your project of rocket bullet, I can do simulations using Ansys Fluent software with or without 6DOF. The highly precise numerical schemes (MUSCL, TVD) and suitable turbulent model (k-omega-SST or hybrid DES) will be employed. Please contact me for further discussion. Thank you! I can handle entire project from geometry generation (with Catia V5) and mesh generation (with ICEM-CFD) to CFD simulation (with Ansys Fluent and its UDF) and postprocessing results. I run Ansys Fluent V15 on a workstation of 8 Xeon cores and 64 GB of RAM. The cost and delivery time will be confirmed upon detailed discussion.

I am pursuing PhD in Aerodynamics in Aerospace Engineering at Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. I am working on Large Eddy Simulations of supersonic jets (impinging on flat/curved surface and also on wedges) to study the acoustic sources and its propagations. I am also working on LES/DNS for shock-turbulence interactions. I have done Masters in the same field from the same institute where I worked on error estimation and grid adaptation for RANS and applied to ogive cylinder (bullet), high lift devices etc. Please have a look to my profile and the papers.
