XML API - Wordpress post type. wordpress plugin pulling vehicle information via XML API. Car information - post type already in wordpress. API manual doc included. Access to WP install. API Info - " The API comprises of queryable ASP.NET handlers which provide data output in either XML or native image format (image handlers only). Each handler is parameter - driven and queryable via HTTP GET, with the exception of the Contact handler <[login to view URL]> which is queryable via HTTP POST. All calls use a simple security token “key” . Handlers accept parameters in form of a standard GET querystring or form POST. Name - value pairs must be passed in unencoded format." Plugin must be able to run once a day. ( with cron or without, dont mind if i have to setup a cron ) We already have a SOAP API and another API which is XML however not pulling ASP handlers. What is the end result? The API pulls latest car listings and pushes them as a post type on wordpress. A custom wordpress page template then displays the car listings within a tidy format.
