In your project I think you need both the Arduino and Computer codes for saving the Data. There will be only 3 simple steps: Initiate the system when there is any RF card inserted and read the card. HI, I am Ushan. I have 3 years experience in firmware development for AVR(arduino), PIC and different architectures. I can help you on this project. Do you have a separately build hardware or are you using breakouts and wires with a Arduino board? What is the Arduino you are using? is it Uno ? resent me to ask that is that we need two serial port to communicate. One for PC and one for RFID module(most of RFIDs used UART(serial ports). If its Uno then we can have one software serial to send data to PC. I guess that I need to make a simple java or C# app in PC side to collect data from COM port and make the spread sheet. I'm an italian electronic engineer with more than 14 years of work experience. I work as HW designer; FW and SW developer. As HW designer, I work in Altium, KiCad and Orcad and I have experience in development single MCU (Microchip PIC and ARM Cortex) boards with several digital I/O (GPIO, UART, SPI, I2C, PWM,....) and some analog I/O. I design complete board: power section, MCU section, peripheral section,.... I design also boards with battery power; so I have experience in low power PCB design. I have also experience in commercial boards (Arduino, Raspberry, Beaglebone,...) shields design. I have also experience in bluetooth (both 2.0 and 4.0) PCB design. As FW developer, usually I work in C for Microchip PIC and Eclipse + GNU ARM for different ARM Cortex M3/M4 manufacturers (but I'm ready to swith to new frameworks). I work both in single task and multi task environment (FreeRTOS). I write code both for low level driver (GPIO, UART, SPI, I2C, PWM....) management and for high level/final application.
