fix an image in Elementor?

I know it's dumb, but I was turned onto Elementor, and I have been happily making pages from it. I just got told by an expert that I need to code the website from scratch, he is probably right. But I want to see if what I want can be fixed first.
First look at "pic done right, coded hard." This pic was the same on my laptop as it was on my widescreen for my desktop computer. In other words it didn't change its size.
Now look at the same image I put on Elementor. The pic on the wide screen is a much different size than the one on small screen.
Also, the pic that was hard coded css style is further away, you see more of the entire branch, which I like too.
So my question is can this image which is a "background image," covers entire screen, be fixed in size like the css coded one? Or not?
