I'm currently looking for four Migration Planning Engineer's to work with the customers Migration team, understanding/driving migration methodology, document/plan Migration activities in Bern - Switzerland. We're looking for people with a great technical knowledge of Transmission (DWDM, SDH), MPLS, Ethernet/Legacy Services, LAN, WLAN & Nokia equipment. Initial contract length of 1 year. As this is quite urgent get in contact ASAP and we can discuss in more depth.

I am a Java architect/developer with over 17 years of experience, with many successful application/database migration projects under my belt. I also have many years of experience with both traditional SQL and LDAP databases, and recently I have also added Apache Cassandra and MongoDB to my skill set. I have had a number of database migrations involving Oracle, with the biggest to date was the migration from Oracle to IBM DB2 of the database of a Trade Finance System (i.e., import/export Letter of Credit) for a universal bank here in the Philippines in 2012. My most recent migration project was for an American company for their Japanese client (Toshiba) involving their OpenDJ LDAP database and Java client software (you can read more about this in my work experience). I almost always use Groovy for my migration scripts. I am also an Electronics and Communications Engineer by university training and I have experience with the Huawei SDP/SAG platform.
