I live in Ghana. I want to buy some portable (less than 7Kg) products that are being sold by Nigerian online/offline shops, but I don't know the Nigeria terrain well. So, I need a personal shopper living in Nigeria to assist me navigate the website/shops, purchase the items, and ship them to me in Ghana for the next one month or 30days after being awarded.
I am a very trustworthy employer and need a trustworthy/hardworking employee as well.
Here is how I propose we go about this project:
Step 1: I will send you the names(list) of or links to the items I want to buy. The quantity I want. The price of each of the items (NB: you will find out for me where I’m unable to provide) .
Step 2: You will calculate the total cost of buying the items. This total cost needs to be converted to Ghana Cedis/USD Dollars. It includes the total price of the items and any incurred costs(overhead expenses).
Step 3: I will create a milestone for that total cost.
Step 4: You will buy the items.
Step 5: Upon receiving the items, you will take pictures of them so I can see that they are correct and undamaged.
Step 6: We will discuss the best way to ship the items from Nigeria to Ghana (either through transport; preferrably CHISO or Post Office/EMS)
Step 7: You will calculate and let me know the total cost of shipping the items to me. This shipping cost needs to be in Ghana Cedis. It includes the total transport/postage or EMS price, the price of all packaging materials you need to buy (like a box, bubble wrap, tape), the cost of traveling to the transport/post office, and any additional fees.
Step 8: I will create a milestone for that total cost of shipping.
Step 9: You will forward/mail the items to me.
Step 10: I will receive the items and release the milestones.
Some of the items may be fragile. So, it will be beneficial if you have experience packing fragile items for overseas shipping. The packing supplies that the shop uses to mail the items to you locally will probably not be enough to withstand the rough handling that often occurs during transportation/shipping. You may need to buy additional packing supplies, like bubble wrap. I will pay for everything, as described in Step 7.
I only use Freelancer.com's milestone payment system. Please do not ask me to use PayPal, Skrill, or any other service, or to make advance payments for incomplete projects.
I need someone who can communicate well in English, trustworthy, hardworking and who is not shy. If any difficulties arise during this project, I will need your help. For example, if an item is out of stock, or if it is damaged when it arrives to you, I will need you to communicate with the shop to resolve the problem. So you can't be shy when talking with me or with the shop. I expect you to promptly read, acknowledge, and reply to all of my messages.
HOW TO BID:
Please let your bid represent your FEE for providing me this shopping service. You will be paid a fixed fee, which we will agree on before starting this project.
DO NOT include the price of the items or shipping in your bid. It is impossible to know those exact amounts right now anyway. We will calculate those other costs as the project progresses.
This is an easy project. It only requires good communication skills. The person who charges me the most reasonable fee will be awarded this project. For me to know you read the details well and understood, with your bid, please tell me your favorite organic health product and brand; eg Greentea: Hemani or Maca: NOW or Nature’s Way.
