urgengly of need for a professional editor of a New writer

i am in need for an editor of my book listed below: "Adventurous Tales From A Mountain Walk" The first edition has been on sale via Amazon since February 2018. I am now in the process of translating into Spanish & Portuguese but before I submit these versions I wish to have the English version editied professionally. I live and work in Cali Colombia and my publishers are in the United Kingdom. I also have a confession to make I am a 62 year old Englishman with very little education and to get to a point where I have acheived writing a book, and never mind the fact I have also complete a second and about to embark on the third one. The first book has been reviewed and i wish to act upon the advice given. please see the review below: I am a review of a book of voices. It takes an imaginative mind to “hear” the stories of the objects that a person encounters while taking a two-hour walk. Adventurous Tales from a Mountain Walk by Mike Bowley is a compilation of these voices. It is fiction, written by someone new to Colombia and thus, not fluent in Spanish. That said, the text has a sprinkling of Spanish words that are explained clearly and add flavor to the storytelling. The structure of the book is unique and refreshing. Every chapter title starts with “I am” then a thing, person or phenomenon. The chapter is then told in their point of view as they tell their story. Using the first person point of view was a good way for the writer to show different personalities and characterizations, even to inanimate objects like a bottle or a mountain. A funny part was when the new road was criticizing and feeling superior over the old road. I also found it amusing to read about how something acquired knowledge; for example, the road read about parachutes from a magazine thrown on it. Every speaker in each chapter refers to meeting an old man, who is the writer. I liked how the seemingly disparate stories are strung together by a common thread this way. This format was not strictly followed -- the chapter about the cross was from the point of view of the dead man on it, for example -- which I forgave because the surprise made for entertaining reading. The proximity among the different characters was reinforced again when they shared a common experience and rallied through it together. The structure of this book was impressive, so I regret to point out its two main weaknesses. Firstly, the grammar errors were so many that it was painful to read. The top two errors were incorrect punctuation and awkward phrasing. For every lovely phrase such as “indignation of the unexpected experience” or “my tyres started to tire”, there were duds like “when I was in eyesight of him” which could be phrased as “within eyesight” and “my rise in the ranks was meteoritic”, when it should be “meteoric”. Secondly, there were some parts that were repeated. Like the song about the 12 days of Christmas, the previous item was added to the next list so the list became cumbersome. Similarly, a part of the story of the previous character was retold in a future chapter. The retelling is from a different character’s perspective, true, but if they’re identical then it’s not necessary. There is a lot of promise for this book to be quality literary fiction given its structure. It has touches of magical realism, a genre popularized by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, a renowned Colombian author who would have appreciated this book’s ode to his country. Given the opportunities to improve in this book, I rate it two out of four stars . I would love to read a fully professionally-edited version of it. It has voices talking about resilience and community. I recommend this book to those who like to people watch and make up stories for the passersby..
