I will choose cheap CPU and maybe external DAC (to meet you demand for 16bit). maybe a class d amp and PWM signal will do (from CPU) ? Touch pad - no problem. I can program it as well. in house. With power consumption ready modes And finally, I can be point of contact to china manufacturing for prototype and later for 1000 units
