I already have designed products which include: - 3-axis accelerometers for velocity/displacement calculation. - movement/PIR sensors, air quality / CO2 / CO sensors, temperature/humidity sensors - Barometric/Altitude sensors for weather AND Elevator Car altitude calculations - thermal camera sensor(for Security Industry) - digital/analog wired/wireless audio circuits and Class D audio amplifiers (for Security Industry also) - Universal Voltage SMPS, 3 - 150 W (flyback) (for Security Industry also) - Uart/SPI to Ethernet Bridges - Lion chargers - LED Lighting products (from 3W downlights to High Power Floodlights) - WiFi to Ethernet to Uart Bridges with AES-128 Encryption (for Security Industry) - Zigbee digital, and Audio-over-Zigbee products - Bluetooth 3.0 module Networking Most products are undergone CE Approval Night Vision is accomplished with IR Leds. There are CMOS sensors with 1/4 moon light sensitivity, so very low power is needed for IR Lighting. But you must please specify the frame rate for the CMOS chip, in case streaming video is needed. 2Mpixels RGB (at 16-bit color depth) @ 30 fps, translates to 3GBPS , which is well beyond WiFi (and for Bluetooth). Realistic rates are 1-3 fps, at 8-bit color depth for this kind of resolution. Even though MPEG4 compression chipsets can be used (1:3 - 1:6 compression ratio), these are not very cheap (royalties for compression protocols exist), so it may not be viable to achieve the <$40 for massive manufacturing Thank you
