Task:1
Now you have to describe, in detail, two different techniques for interfacing a controller to an external system. This system could even be another microcontroller system.
Systems that could be considered are:
Graphical displays
Remote data storage
Signal conditioning systems such as temperature monitoring
Security systems in the home or car.
Communicating data between two remote systems.
Choose your system and check with the lecturer that your choice is suitable. When sanctioned to proceed you will need to present TWO different methods for creating the interface. You will need to consider the merits of each system.
Present this as a short report with suitable diagrams to justify your evaluations.
Task 2
For the work you undertook for P7, where you chose a microcontroller for an application, you are to consider alternatives that would have additional benefits for that application.
You must describe those benefits and justify them, just choosing an alternative and giving a list of benefits will not be sufficient.
Present as a short report with any supporting information.
