Conversion of IBM Rational Rhapsody SysML files from .rpyx .[login to view URL] to Microsoft Visio .vdx .vsdx files and vice versa, via XSLT using saxon or similar processor.
while the multi-file/multi-folder .vsdx is ideal, converting to single XML .vdx file is sufficient.
However, the conversion of Microsoft Visio to IBM Rational Rhapsody SysML .sbsx has to be from .vsdx files, as the latest Microsoft Visio no longer saves files in .vdx format.
One IBM Rational Rhapsody .sbsx file will convert to one Microsoft [login to view URL] / .vsdx file.
Each diagram in the IBM Rational Rhapsody .sbsx file will be a page in the Microsoft Visio file.
with the same name.
The diagrams after conversion, needs to be visually and functionally similar through diagram type matching on both softwares.
