I need to create a custom number formatting in Microsoft Excel to have negative numbers automatically be displayed in red colour.
However, I need to have comma-style formatting, with currency symbol.
The Excel file that is attached to this contest brief shows what I'd like to have.
I need to retain exactly the same formatting, but I need negative numbers to be displayed in red colour.
Also I need another "custom format type" to have the same as above, but instead of displaying a negative '-' sign, it displays the amount in brackets, along with the comma-style, currency symbol, and red text colour.

Hi, already done. I used a conditional formatting for your purpose. So we can keep the same current format but the cell will be in red if the content have the signal '-'.
