First split the contents into different columns by using 'text to columns' =SUM(1<A1 and A1<29,1<B1 and B1<29,1 <C1 and C1<29, 1<D1 and D1<29) =SUM(1<A1 and A1<79,1<B1 and B1<79,1 <C1 and C1<79, 1<D1 and D1<79) paste these in E1 and F1 respectively drag them to the bottom to autofill the rest.
